Hi there Melanie, what a beautiful post. Thank you for linking the picture books with your own reflections on how you used it in the classroom alongside the children's thoughts about the characters and the plot. I haven't read Peter Reynolds "The Dot" yet but I could see that it's been receiving a lot of love as of late. I look forward to borrowing it the next time I visit the library. Thanks for all the recommendations.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love seeing you you reflect on the titles, beautiful! Lovely read aloud selections.
ReplyDeletePerfect class read aloud! Such a great novel. I love sharing Courage with a class. It is a real treat to see your student reactions. Thanks for this post.
